Vasken Mardikian is an Belgian artist currently working and living in Shanghai, China. He obtained his MFA from Yale University School of Art with a Fulbright grant in 2008, where he studied with Peter Halley, Mel Bochner and Robert Storr.  

Since, he has been selected by the Nanji Art studio residency (Seoul), the Swatch Art Peace Hotel Artist Residency (Shanghai), the Kulturresidens Tranas (Sweden), and the Marie's Artist Studio Program (Shanghai), and his work has been included in solo and group exhibitions in Brussels, Paris, New York, Miami, Kyoto, Gwangju, Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou and Nanjing.
